Our last day started out at Hollywood Studios. We rode the new Toy Story Mania ride, which was really fun. Then we met our favorite friends Lightnin' and Mater.
We saw a few shows at Hollywood Studios including Ariel's Voyage and Beauty and the Beast. Here are Lucy and Annie dancing at the Playhouse Disney show.

For our last afternoon we headed back to the Magic Kingdom to ride all our favorite rides, eat our favorite snacks and see the Spectromagic Parade. It was a wonderful ending to our trip.
Now we can't wait to go again!!!

Disney Day 3

Friday started off great with Cinderella's Royal Table breakfast. Our own Snow White and Sleeping Beauty were very happy to meet the real deals. Annie is "making a wish" with her magic wand at breakfast.

(this is not posed!)

After more rides and meeting the Fairy Godmother, we headed to Epcot. The girls had fun with Nemo and Friends. Here they are reminding Bruce the shark that "fish are friends."

We ran into Mary Poppins in England and Marie the Aristocat in France.

And the girls had alot of fun in the Imagination Institute and Innovations part of Epcot. Mom and Dad's favorite was the "Soarin'" ride at Epcot.

Our last day for magic is tomorrow!!!

Disney Day 2

Thursday was a great day in the Magic Kingdom! As soon as we walked in we met Daisy Duck, and we loved her pink shoes!!! (not enough time to upload the hundreds of pics we took each day). Then we headed for the rides again. The Mad Hatter's Tea Party was a hit, as you can see.

Then we headed to Toontown to see Mickey and Minnie's houses, ride the barnstormer and meet the fairies, which was Lucy's favorite event of the day.

We loved Storytime with Belle, too! Look closely, Belle is the actress from the movie Fireproof. She wasn't able to overtly admit that (so as not to give away her character), but she did say "perhaps" when I asked her. She was great in the movie and a great Belle.

The girls filled up alot of their autograph books and rode more rides Thursday afternoon. We met Aladdin and Jasmine, rode Aladdin's Magic Carpet, watched a parade. They also met Ariel, which was Annie's favorite event of the day. (sorry no pic)
Thursday night we ate dinner with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto. It was so fun and those characters were the friendliest so far. Our day ended with the fireworks. Magical for sure!

Disney Day 1

Disney . . . is truly a magical place!!! We arrived Wednesday afternoon, after a thousand "Are we there yet?" and "Is this Disney World?" questions. We checked in and headed straight to the Magic Kingdom. As we were checking in, they told us we were the "Family of the Day!" They said they upgraded us to their "preferred location" within the hotel. (Most of me thinks this is a hoax. They asked if it was our first trip. I'm thinking they thought we wouldn't know if it was truly an upgrade or not, b/c we'd never been before. But the girls got balloons and crowns and we got a certificate saying "Family of the Day!")
Within five minutes of being in the park someone gave us two free ice cream bars and 4 fast passes. This place is magical!
We headed straight for Cinderella's Castle and on to Cinderella's Carousel.
On our way out to dinner, we met Chip and Dale.
And, at dinner we met Cinderella, along with Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Anastasia and Drucilla. Those pictures are hilarious, as Lady Tremaine and the stepsisters were "in character."

A great afternoon at Disney World!!! More to follow . . .

Holidays 2009

The Kelley's had a great holiday season in 2009. We started if off with two Thanksgiving feasts at Wynnton Preschool. Lucy and Annie each had a performance of "ooh-ah, ooh-ah, shoot my arrow!" Lucy's class sang alot about thanking Jesus, which was so sweet, of course.

After a trip to Muddies for the week, we returned to start Christmas in Columbus. Muddie was sweet enough to come to Columbus shortly after we left. Her Christmas present to the whole family were bikes. The girls loved it, but are still learning. Caught a sweet moment between Lucy and her daddy as he gave her some advice on riding bikes.

The Jingle Bell Fairy came to Lucy and Annie's dancing classes. They each got sprinkled with "jingle dust" as they made a wish. I also snapped a shot of them doing their "do wah diddy" dance.

Drew, Shelley, and Anna Beth came down for an early Kelley Christmas. We had a great Happy Birthday, Jesus! party with all the cousins while they were here.

Christmas Eve we had a morning of jello jiggling and decorating our jello tree. Then we headed to watch Courtney and Carson in their Christmas pageant and celebrate with Mr. Bruce's family.

Christmas Day was wonderful as always. The big girls were patient enough for Bonnie to wake up before they ran in to see Santa's haul. Bonnie had a very "baby" Christmas, while Lucy and Annie's big treat came from Mom and Dad in a princess box stuffed with ballons.

You're going to Disney World!!!

Needless to say, we got a great reaction, even though the trip isn't coming for a few weeks. Daddy got all the hugs and thanks, which is ok when it produces moments like this. We cannot wait for what we hear is a "magical" experience.
Happy New Year!!!

Halloween . . .

We've had a great Halloween with a few fun activities. We kicked it off with a trip to a local restaurant and pumpkin patch called the Farmhouse. We went with our cousins, Kaci, Wilson, Woodruff, and Walter. Kaci and I had lots of help with Mrs. Pat and Aunt Beth. We took a hayride to the pumpkin patch to pick our pumpkins.

The Farmhouse had petting animals. This is the donkey who bit me while I was petting him and telling my girls not to be afraid of him. I have the bruise to prove it.

Then we made a quick trip to Marietta for the annual Halloween parade. It was good for the girls to get to see their friends and their cousin AB!!

Lucy, Annie and Bonnie were all ballerinas for Halloween this year. They had fun practicing all their dance moves and being prissy!

Halloween turned out to be wet and rainy, so there weren't good pictures of our short-lived trick or treating. But, we had a great time with AB who came to spend Halloween night with us. 4 little pumpkins sittin' on a bed . . .
