Concert

When we got home there was no food in our fridge. Luckily, our sweet friends the Manns had us over for pizza along with Drew, Shelley and Anna Beth. Finlay and Grace are Lucy and Annie's best friends. After dinner, the girls decided to put on a show for us. It was quite the concert. We had the best time watching these four perform, and I hope this memory stays etched in my mind forever. Here was the set list:

Lucy: "Life is a highway. I wanna ride it all night lawng!!"

Finlay: "I love you, I love you. Jesus in my heart."

Annie: "My baby does haaannky paannky!" (no i didn't teach her that!)

Grace: Grace didn't actually sing, but her theme song would have been "The Streak" since she didn't have on underpants for half the show. (can't publish naked pictures of other people's kids, only mine)

Home Sweet Home

Home Sweet Home! We are home for the duration after 3 weeks of being in and out of town. Fortunately, we were always with our Memaw (Wes' mom) who is always a super help to me. She adores all of her grangirls and they adore her, too. Preschool is always "in session" with Memaw, too. Here is a picture of her reading to the children at the beach (the first trip of our 3 week stent). Thanks so much, Memaw for a wonderful 3 weeks!! We appreciate all of your help!!

We have been in Columbus the past two weeks for swimming lessons and we have loved being able to see our sweet cousins. One of the things I love most about Wes is how close he is to his entire family, cousins and all. I want that so much for our children, too. So, it is very nice to get to spend time with his cousins' children. Here are Lucy and Annie with Wilson (Kaci Kelley's oldest boy). They were enjoying popsicles on a playdate we had this week. Lucy and Wilson are truly "kissin' cousins." The first pictures are of Lucy and Ruthie (Mitchi's little girl) playing "ring around the rosie" at the Mexican restaurant. Wilson is all boy and Ruthie is all girls. The Kelley girls fall somwhere in between!!

A Dear Friend

I would be remiss if I didn't have a post about Holly Skievaski Muncie, one of my dearest friends from Auburn. We met our freshman year and hit it off instantly. She will always be one of the most special people in my life. As crazy as my life has gotten over the last three years, she has continued to be a phenomenal friend. Holly is so sweet to call me, even though I never have time to call her. And she is just a "real" person who struggles and isn't afraid to say it. Most importantly, she is devoted to the Lord and letting Him live in her. Here is she with her daughter Kirkley, who is 14 months old (so precious!). This was taken at Kennestone the day Bonnie was born (see, what a sweet friend to come all that way for us!). The whole point of this post is that Holly set up my entire blog (i'm telling you - super duper friend who keeps me up to date!). Thanks for the blog, Holly! Had so much fun with you yesterday!

We're Here!!

We're finally blogging!! Garrett - I hope you're still checking! Welcome to the Kelley's blog!! Not sure how I'll have time to add post (i'm out of town right now, so i actually have a second to post), but I'll try. I'd love to share some of our day in and day out mishaps and triumphs. There are lots of "peaks and valleys" at our house, but I am so grateful God takes the time to mold me and our family. Hope you enjoy it!
